Thursday 16 th October 2025 to Thursday 18 th December 2025

Registrations close: Sunday 14 th September at 5:30pm.

COST: $40 for current registered players - Juniors and Seniors

Information regarding the cost to players who have not registered in 2025:

8 and 9-year-olds - $130 Netball Aust & NSW fee (choose the 12-month option for this age group)
Junior (10-17)- $78 Netball Aust & NSW fee (choose the 3-month registration)
Senior (18+)- $91 NSW fee (choose the 3-month registration)

NOTE: The 3-month registration opens on 1st September for players who did not play in 2025 already & this is available for U10- Senior players- Players 8 & 9 must register for 12-month product.

JUNIOR TEAMS

The Twilight Competition is for players aged 8yrs to 17yrs for a period of 9 weeks. It will be played on a Thursday at 4:15pm, 5:15pm 6:15pm. The times of games will be 4 x 12
minute quarters, 1 minute break between quarters and 9 minutes between games.

8-year-olds will be accepted for registration but will be playing on full height goal posts and playing against 9-year-olds.

SENIOR TEAMS

(18+)

The competition will be played on Thursday nights 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm for 9 weeks. It will be opened to males & females. Mixed rules will apply and only 3 males per team will be allowed on the court at any time. Only 1 male per team is permitted in each 3rd of the court.

TEAMS MUST ORGANISE & PAY FOR THEIR OWN UMPIRES. Please contact the club if
you need contact details for an umpire.

Club uniforms are not compulsory (same-coloured shirts or Club uniforms).

Mixed Competition Rules

Team Composition

Teams may be mixed. Each junior team may have a maximum of 10 players registered. Senior teams may have a maximum of 12 players registered.
For mixed division / teams may have a maximum of 3 male players on court at any time.
Only 1 male per third (i.e., GS or GA, WA or C or WD, GD or GK).
Minimum of 5 players to start a game.

Match Format

Games are played in 4 x 12-minute quarters.
1-minute break between quarters, 1 minute at halftime.
All matches will be centrally timed from Event Control

Scoring

Standard goals (within the goal circle): 1 point.
We will look to have a division trial E-Scoring

Grades / Divisions

For a 9-week competition, ideally divisions will have 8-10 teams in each division.
The final week will be a fun dress up week Theme to be advised

Match Points

Win = 3 points | Draw = 2 points | Loss = 1 point | Forfeit = -2 points.
Winners –first past the post will be deemed the winning team

Substitutions

Unlimited rolling substitutions are allowed, from an area level with the centre circle.

Borrowing Players

Players from a lower grade or division can be borrowed to bring the number of players available to 7 to play a game. Keeping in line with 3 males on the court rule if mixed.
Borrowed players must register at control with the name of the division they play in and the division they would like to be borrowed into for the night.

Jewellery / Nails

Jewellery should be removed prior to taking the court.
Nails should be trimmed; gloves may not be worn to cover long nails.
Gloves may be allowed where an appropriate Dr certificate has been submitted prior to the season starting, with approval given.

Conduct & Spirit

This is a social competition – good sportsmanship is expected.
No aggressive play or abusive language. Disrespect to other players, umpires or officials will not be tolerated
Umpires’ decisions are final.
Teams may be penalised for unsporting behaviour (e.g., goal disallowed, player sent off for 2 minutes).

Uniforms

Teams must wear matching bibs with clear position labels.
Bibs - teams are required to supply their own bibs. Normally available from your club
No club / formal uniform is required; suitable active wear is recommended.
Suitable sports footwear is required.
