Welcome to Sylvania Heights Netball Club

Sylvania Heights Netball Club is a Foundation Member of the Sutherland Shire Netball Association.

The club was first formed in 1960 and has proudly been affiliated with the Sylvania Heights Community Youth Club since that time.

We encourage a family friendly environment and promote the values of teamwork, respect, integrity, reward through effort and fair play.

We value each and every member of our club, and strive to support all players, coaches and umpires so we can all play the game we love.

We looking forward to another enjoyable and successful season in 2019

To All SSNA Affiliates,
SSNA are required to comply with the current PHO (Public Health Order) – Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No4) 2020.
To fulfil these requirements and the need to comply with the conditions of the PHO the Association requests clubs to make their members/teams aware of the restrictions on numbers we have needed to apply and the access to the various facilities within the zones.

SSNA have planned their 2020 Competition over five (5) designated areas.

At all Court areas we will be stressing ‘social distancing’ and ’10 minutes in / 10 minutes out’ and ‘
A 15 PERSON PER TEAM HEAD COUNT’ – coaches, players, umpire, spectators :

1. Upper Courts Bellingara –
• Control, Physio, and facilities will be available as usual;
• Canteen will be supplying a restricted range;
• Entry will be through the Court 31/30 gate from the car park – see below
• Exit will be through the double gates – see below
• The gateways to the Lower Court area will be closed off.

2. Lower Courts Bellingara –
• Control will be in the Stadium Kitchen;
• Canteen will be open and supplying a restricted range;
• Physio will be in the Meeting Room;
• Toilets will be accessible in the lower level of the Stadium from the Southern end;
• Entry will be through the gates on Courts 29 and 27 – see below;
• Exit will be through the gates on Courts 28 and 26 – see below;

3. Bellingara Stadium –
• A1 grade only with a ‘stand alone’ game at 5:20
• Limited number of spectators.

4. Seymour Shaw –
• Control and First Aid as previous seasons;
• Canteen will be open and supplying a restricted range;
• We would suggest the Tennis Courts Car Park as a suitable ‘Drop Off Zone’ - – see below;

5. The Ridge –
• Control in the Netball building;
• Facilities open;
• We are hoping to have Physio available, but there will definitely be First Aid.

Full training is allowed with no restrictions on group size, all drills are allowed on court and full training with body contact drills and practice games are allowed.
Sharing of equipment should still be minimized be where possible, & continue to maintain cleaning and disinfectant measures.
Revised 60 minute training schedule still applies.
