How To Register

COMPETITION DATES:

Registrations opens Sunday 1st September at 9:0am and closes Monday 23rd September at 5:30pm.

COST:

$40 for current registered players - Juniors and Seniors

Information regarding the cost to players who have not registered in 2024:

8 and 9-year-olds - $40 + $86 Netball Aust & NSW fee (choose the 12-month option for this age group)
Junior (10-17)- $40 + $37 Netball Aust & NSW fee (choose the 3-month registration)
Senior (18+)- $40 SSNA fee + $49 NSW fee (choose the 3-month registration)

JUNIOR TEAMS
(8-17 years old)
The Twilight Competition is for players aged 8yrs to 17yrs for a period of 9 weeks. It will be
played on a Thursday at 4:15pm, 5:15pm 6:15pm. The times of games will be 4 x 12 minute quarters, 1 minute break between quarters and 9 minutes between games.
8-year-olds will be accepted for registration but will be playing on full height goal posts and playing against 9-year-olds.
JUNIOR REGISTRATION
SENIOR TEAMS
(18+)
The competition will be played on Thursday nights 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 8:15pm for 9 weeks. It will be opened to males & females. Mixed rules will apply and only 3 males per team will be allowed on the court at any time. Only 1 male per team is permitted in each 3rd of the court.
TEAMS MUST ORGANISE & PAY FOR THEIR OWN UMPIRES. Please contact the club if you need contact details for an umpire.
Club uniforms are not compulsory (same-coloured shirts or Club uniforms).
SENIOR REGISTRATION

Mixed Competition Rules:

Summer netball is open to both boys and girls of all ages, both junior and senior. Once registrations have been confirmed, a decision will be made on whether there will be mixed teams in both the junior and senior competitions.

The following rules apply for a mixed competition:

3 boys allowed on the court at any time, one in each third.
A maximum of 7 players may take the court at one time, and no less than 5 players. If a team does not have 5 players, the game will not commence until at least 5 players have arrived.
A team must start with at least one male on the court, with a maximum of three males may be on the court at any time. Teams may use more than three males during the game but must only have three on at any time with any extras being used as substitutes. If during the game any males are injured which results in the team being left with no males, then play may continue provided the team still has 5 players on court. Male players shall play one in each area of the court (mid court, goals, and defense).

The combination is:

GS or GA
WA or C or WD*
GD or GK

*Alternatively, if teams have two male players in the mid court, then they cannot have a male player in defense or goals. For example:

WA and C – cannot have a male in GS or GA
WD and C – cannot have a male in GD or GK
